Rusty the Squirrel here to tell you a bit about my favorite camping spot in the great state of Pennsylvania.
Why listen to a little ol' squirrel? Hey, I've been "camping" my whole life! Sometimes I get a little "treehole fever" and want to get out.
Open April to November, Elizabethtown/Hershey KOA is my favorite getaway. The Kampground is located in the middle of all the wonderful things to do in Eastern Pennsylvania. It's just 20 minutes from Hershey "the Chocolate Town" and the thrills of HersheyPark with their New Interactive Water Park for 2007! The park is only a short drive to the Amish Country, the Pennsylvania Farm Show complex, and the factory tours of York County & Historic Gettysburg. Elizabethtown/Hershey KOA is the perfect home base for all your adventures!
Wander around with me on this 50 acre tree filled campground offering a stocked catch n' release fishing pond, Sand volleyball area and plenty of room to toss a frisbee. Got games? Try your luck on our 13 hole minigolf course or toss a horseshoe. Shoot a little hoops or join in one of our planned summer activity events Take a dip in the sparkling swimming pool or catch a hayride. My favorite is to just sit back and relax. Watch me and woodland friends - we're always up to something.
